He was a true musical genius. He was an incredible dancer and his voice gave me goosebumps.
Much like any media icon, he was subject to insensitivity, because their jobs is to twist and poison everything that is good in the world, they make money but stupid stupid people buy into it. Learning to moonwalk was my greatest achievement. To hear this legend pass away felt heartbreaking, as if i'd lost a friend.
My favourite songs ever; blood on the dancefloor, dirty diana and smooth criminal. <3
Sadly, yesterday, June 25th, Michael Jackson, the last AMAZING musician passed away, and there is NOTHING worse than to see people using social networking sites to talk disrespectfully about him.
I remember being a young schoolgirl, putting up "michael jackson is innocent" posters around school corridors, and being told that my opinion was not appriciated. I remember how I cried when he was found innocent, because it was the first thing I've ever felt so passionate about, I believed in him, I will always believe in him. To lose your childhood at 11 from fame, it is inevitable that you would cling onto whatever childhood memories you have, in whatever way you could. He was my everyday answer to Peter Pan, and I love that, for I always wished Peter Pan to be real. I would have trusted him with my life.
People, as ignorant as they will be, of course do not care that he was found innocent in a court of law, and believe it is "cool" to display their thoughts in malicious manners. If you didn't like Michael Jacksons music, then you are a twat, because most of the music you listen to is probably inspired by him.
I have a terrible temper when people are unnecessarily ignorant, obnoxious and arrogant.
If you didn't like him as a person, then keep your opinions to yourself, because if it was YOUR relative, and someone said "LOL your mums dead," whether they knew you or not, you wouldn't appriciate it. If you died for whatever reason that attracted media attention, people would feel sad for you, whether they knew you or not, therefore "you didn't even know him" is NOT an excuse to talk trash about him.
I really don't have time for immature cunts, especially when you look at those who make the vile comments, people with comments of his looks, who could really do with visiting a plastic consultant themselves, or perhaps just putting down the fork once in a while.
I eagerly await those who think it's hillarious to run their mouths off, to release their amazing multi million record careers, or their cardiac arrests, whichever comes first. I'll put money on the latter. :) We'll call it Karma.
These people anger me, as if the world isn't narrow minded enough.
There will never be another Michael Jackson. He's up there with Elvis and Cash now, the best of the best. :(
